yesterday I saw the film in the Viennale (Viennese Film Festival) and just loved it. Such a great, beautiful, amazing, touching, weird, sad, etc.. film, Gallo´s acting really is amazing, he put so much into this role. so, folks, if you can, go watch this film, worth every penny!

Matt Dillon was up for the role, not Damon.

    Vincent Gallo is brilliant

  • HowAboutSomeTruth1 says:

He is hardly worthy of the title of “actor” let alone greatest of our time. Paris Hilton is already better.

  • applemoon237 says:

yes, damn sexy and brilliant too.

  • Razzlesnaps says:

anyone know the leather jacket gallo is wearing there its really nice i want to get one

  • musiclover1958 says:

Vincent Gallo is one of the greatest actors of our time. I can’t believe Matt Damon was up for the role. I can’t stand him. Gallo is a man, a real man, Damon is nothing but a mealy mouthed ugly talentless freak who got lucky. He should be saying “do you want fries with that”.

    Vincent – you’re the best.

i was one of the first 300 people the see it, it was a great movie. (saw it in New York with the director and cast) The after party was great too.

nah i think he’s just trying his best to point out cultural differences that will explain actions and opinions and feelings of the characters.

  • honkyxadonis says:

Saw Tetro last night. Wonderful. Really pulls you into it’s world, and Gallo wins you completely over…GOrgeous soudntrack too. Too bad the Kabuki theatre in san francisco is showing this film with the right fourth of the image out of focus. Isn’t the year 2009? We’re still dealing with this problem….what a joke. All the technology, theatre, projector, lenses, cameras, and the print is out of focus on the right for the whole time….Francis…do something!

  • loudcosmicyummy says:
