most sites have a rss feed link on their page somewhere. in myspace or 360 there are places to put the rss link. ive seen one on 360 but i dont use myspace.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

1. Be Creative! The best part about blogging is that it’s completely you! You can express yourself, your ideas, and your opinions. But not just that, everything on your blog represents you. Get to know the tools, widgets, and options you have to change the layout, color, background, text. Make your blog undeniably you!

2. Change it up! Not only can you find a perfect layout, you can change your appearance and themes as often as you like! Go with the seasons! Go with your mood! Add and change up your pictures, music, and other elements to keep things upbeat and interesting.

3. Try multiple blogs. You don’t have to stick to one blog. Say you have a blog that all your friends and family know about, and there’s certain things you can’t say or write about because of who might read it. Or say you started this blog with a certain theme or tone, so you can’t write about other things because it doesn’t fit the blog. Well, why not have two? You can even use a pen name and be completely anonymous on the second blog. You could have a deep, intellectual blog and a bright, entertaining blog. You could have a dark, moody blog and a witty, professional blog. Who says you can only express one side of yourself?

4. Blog on the side. Perhaps you’re not a big blogger and, although you enjoy an occasional post, you don’t have the time or energy to update very often. Try a social network instead of a blog network. Most social networks, like Facebook and MySpace, have the opportunity for blogging, but there’s other things to do as well. From games to simple status updates to messaging friends, you can maintain an account without having to constantly write blog posts. Yet, you’ll still get a chance to write a post where your friends can see it whenever you want!

5. Look around! You can always get ideas from other seasoned bloggers. You can get inspiration on what to write about, how to design your blog page, and even ask questions from seasoned bloggers all over the Internet. Check out Technorati.com or perform a Google Blog search to find all kinds of blogs on the Internet.

6. Stay safe! Keep in mind that your posts are completely open to the public. You should be careful how much identity information you post on your site. Even if you put in small bits of information here and there, all someone would have to do is read all your entries to piece together quite a lot of information about you! You are certainly free to use a pen name and fictional names that would give away your location, school or work name to avoid sharing too much personal information. In many cases, this would probably be recommended.

7. Join the community! There are many bloggers like you out there who have some interesting stories and posts you might be interested in! From the home page of your blog host provider, you can often search for blog with similar topics or interests. You can read and comment on other people’s posts and subscribe to their sites to get updates when they post again. The more you connect with others, the more they will connect with you, read your posts, and subscribe to you!

Ready to add your Blogger template to your Blogger blog? First let’s get your Blogger template ready to be added to your Blogger blog.

1. Find the Blogger template you want to use on your Blogger blog.

2. Save the Blogger template to your computer. Save it to a place where you will be able to find it easily later.

3. If the Blogger template is in a .zip file you will need to extract the template files from the .zip file using a program like WinZip. If you have Windows XP then you already have a Zip program. When extracting these files remember where they are saved to so you can find them top upload them.

4. Open NotePad, another text program or the HTML editor you are using. Click “File” then “Open” in your text program and open the template files. Now we are going to get Blogger ready so you can enter your new template text.

1. Log into your Blogger account.

2. Under “Change Settings” you will see an icon that looks like a gear. Click on this icon.

3. Click on the tab that says “Template”.

4. Open a blank/new page in your NotePad program.

5. Highlight and copy all of the text and code that is inside the Blogger template page on Blogger.

6. Paste this code into the blank page you just created in NotePad.

7. Save this NoteTab page as “bloggeroriginal.txt” (without the quotes). You will need this code again if you don’t like the way the new template looks and you want to go back to the original. Save this to a safe place in case you need it later.

Now we are going to replace the template code on your Blogger Templage page with your new Blogger template code.

1. Go back into the Blogger page. Again highlight the text and code on the page. This time delete it. Since it is saved to your computer and you are going to replace it with the new tempate text you will no longer need it to show here.

2. Go to the NotePad file where you opened the code for your new Blogger template. Highlight and copy all the text on the page (make sure you get it all).

3. Go to the Blogger Template page on Blogger. This should be blank now because you previously deleted everything in it.

4. Paste the new Blogger template code into this Template page.

5. Click on the large, orange button that says “Save Template Changes”.

6. On the next page click on “Republish” to republish your new Blogger template to your entire Blogger blog. This could take a couple minutes.

7. Then on the next page click on the button that says “Republish Entire Blog”.

8. Click on “View Blog” to see what your new blog looks like.

WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON? Is this REASON HOW Oabam is able to ‘connect’ to so many between the ages of 18 and 45?? Seems set up to me.

BESIDES Obama’s ties, what about what he has done for Chicago??? AND WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH WHO’S IN CHARGE OF MOST OF THE MEDIA? I have seen the Media reports, and hardly EVER hear anything about hat he had done as a Senator of Ill. FOR THE POOR OF HIS OWN CITY. His “leadership’ seems to have made things worse. I was never a political type pf person until this year and do not like watching TV, Radio, or reading papers because of the biased reporting. Wjat I do is look in Congressional, State, and City Records, and read articles, and then do research to see how true it was from real statistics. According to Chicago statistics, since Obama has decided to take away handguns, the number of murders in Chicago has double that of the Iraq War, within the same time that the investigation had been done.
Do people even understand WHAT ‘Chicago politics’ are? If you don’t maybe you should look it up. It has been stated many times by those in the Political Realm of Things, that if you are in the politics of Chicago, yu are also in the Mob. That comes from the people who work in it, themselves. What I have done below is collaborated VIDEOS, where you can SEE for yourself, even with the sound off, of what has become of Chicago, is worse than it was BEFORE Obama was assigned to Lead them. I am a middle class American. In order for me to make SURE that I was fair and NOT unintentionally being biased, the videos that I have chosen, are from the POOR that he claims to want to make a ‘change’ for. Taking money intended for these people, and used it elsewhere. But, the question is, Where? You might want to copy, paste, and save what I have here. I read what the People of Chicago had to say, and it seems the ONLY ones who support him there, are the ones beings paid, or being made promises that things will ‘change’ once he is President. The People of Chicago, I believe, that support him are belieiving in a ‘false hope’. Is that maybe due to the Committes he belongs to in The Senate? It seems to me like it was ‘false effort’ in order to win Votes later and that’s why he’s getting the support that he is? Maybe, maybe not. You look at the Congressional records yourself and decide comparing what he has said himself on the .gov site, and then watch the proof. It very sad, enough to make you cry. The People who see Obama as the Leader, are the ones who haven’t seen the City’s pain. What ‘Change’ IS Obama implying? I see a Wolf in sheeps’s clothing…………

The anticipation rises between every message. The messenger is a mystery, wearing an ugly disguise that is easily portrayed as an innocent adolescent. With no sense of danger, she agrees to meet the so-called minor that would turn into a downward spiral to her inevitable fate. This situation is common in young woman who are naive to the thought that sexual predators exist over the internet. The internet is a place with little supervision and well design and intriguing websites. Predators and hackers find the internet as a way to manipulate users and abuse the concept of using the internet. Anyone who has an internet connection is exposed to common threats and material that may be harmful to the their computer and themselves. None of these dangers are more common than internet predators. Internet predators are a growing concern for parents. Predators find it easy to reach children through chat rooms and social networks like Myspace, YouTube and Facebook. Both Myspace and Facebook have developed a new generation of young adults almost all by themselves.
The concepts of these networks are easy. A personal profile is made which includes things like hobbies, blogs, videos and pictures which are easily searchable by personal information entered upon signing up. Other users are able to leave comments and messages on your profile. You may also add users to your friends list which allows them to view more pictures and have access to vital information about yourself. This information includes your city, state, age, schools, companies, martial status, and even your yearly income. Doing this increases the chance of people finding out exactly where you are. If you were to post that you were going to be somewhere at a particular time and date, it would be frighteningly easy for someone else to wait for you there. More children are abusing the networks using them for self gratification. They tend to feel better about themselves. Most children on Myspace add friends they don’t know. They are fooled to believe that having friends’ years older than themselves is innocent. Although most websites won’t let you sign up if you’re too young, it’s fairly easy to type in any year you desire, making it simple to be any age you want. According to Myspace, in August of 2006, they reached their 100 millionth user making Myspace expand into an international empire and containing over 50 million users. With the successful expansion, Myspace is taking a stand against sexual predators and hackers by devoting a page of safety tips to making a Myspace experience safer. The page gives you tips and resources that the Myspace team encourage you to share with your family and friends. They also hope to install new safety features, making it impossible for anyone to do any harm.
Although social networks propose many threats they’re also used in a crime fighting manner. Take Heather Kane for example, who used Myspace to obtain information about her ex-husband’s new lover. She intended on hiring a hit man to kill the woman. Fortunately, the hit man she hired was an undercover policeman. Police now use the internet to help collect evidence that can be vital in a court case or to help identify suspects. Users sometimes post explicit pictures or a confession, making to easy for police to file charges.
The internet isn’t just a place for communicating. Many people who have the internet use it for everyday conviences. People buy their prescriptions, gifts, clothes, games, movies, music and everything else through the internet. These actions usually require credit card information. Hackers can easily obtain this knowledge and use it as if it were their own. Sometimes, they use vital information and sell it to other hackers anywhere from $1 to $175 depending on how much information they have. Everyday, over 400 credit card numbers are stolen. This may include social security numbers, pins, birth dates, phone numbers, street adresses, and even mother’s maden name. Banks are trying to resolve this issue by issuing a credit card number that may only be used once, hopefully reducing a risk.
